Damn
Dance in the teeth of destruction my darling,
murder with music my own sweet love.
Slaughter with gladness, get drunk on the madness
of certified badness ordained from above.
High in the ether eliminate others
they’re never your brothers so blast them to hell.
Boil them and burn them, we’ll bloody well learn them
to fall in behind when their usefulness ends.
When we equipped them we hadn’t intended,
after we ended our personal war,
that they would continue to exhibit sinew
and muscle their way just like we did before.
Leap to the beat of bombardment and bugles
this time we have roubles to back up our plans.
Trip the fantastic aboard the bombastic
orations of national leaders who fan
sparks of uncertainty, fear and insanity.
Can it be curtains, not just for Saddam,
but for every dancer who questions the answer
and answers the question?--Oh damn!
